Patient Communications X 300K

Indivica is pleased to announce that our new patient engagement solutions – Notify and Communicate – has passed another major milestone. IndiviCare practitioners have now digitally engaged with over 300,000 patients through these secure patient engagement applications.

Communicate, launched just 8 weeks ago, has already allowed thousands of patients to receive their medical results directly from their physician to date. Adoption of this new platform is currently growing at 15% additional patients per week.

Notify allows clinicians to send targeted communications to select groups of patients. and simplifies the clinical appointment workflow by supporting electronic patient confirmations.

Tightly integrated into the IndiviCare EMR solution, Notify and Communicate have been highly valued during the current pandemic in keeping patients informed and engaged by their health care professionals.

Virtual Care with IndiviCare

Virtual Care is tightly integrated within the IndiviCare EMR application through Communicate and Notify.

Communicate:

With Communicate, you can virtually engage with your patients through IndiviCare. This clinician controlled service allows you to send to, and if you wish, receive from your patients secure electronic messages. All information is encrypted and secure at all times. The entire communication is embedded in the patient’s chart.

For example, if you want to forward to your patient a recent lab report, you simply click a button and its done. If you wish to discuss electronically these lab results with the patient, the secure messaging application embeds this capability.

Similarly, Communicate optionally allows a clinic to provide a patient initiated secure messaging connection to a physician.

Notify:

Leveraging the power of Indivica’s network technology, IndiviNet, Notify is a native IndiviCare application that integrates appointment notifications and batch patient mailings into the standard IndiviCare EMR workflow.

Notify allows, in the case of an outbreak such as COVID-19, an immediate bulk communications tool between the physician and their roster of patients.

Massively Scalable, Secure Routing of Health Data

Millions requests per day is the current average throughput of Indivica’s secure application routing engine. That’s a lot.

Millions requests per day represents a brighter future in health care, where patients, clinicians, and health teams can communicate on the issues that matter most to the individual.

We are excited for the future, as the capabilities of our technology expand your reach as a practitioner.

IndiviCare now includes Notify

Appointment notifications and patient mailings are now included, for free, in IndiviCare 4.

Leveraging the power of Indivica’s network technology, IndiviNet, Notify is a native IndiviCare application that integrates appointment notifications and patient mailings into the standard EMR workflow. This delivers useful new functionality effortlessly and automatically within your practice.

Hot Standby – Indivica’s Data Centres

IndiviCare 4 includes a fully redundant Hot Standby EMR instance for all of our customers included in the basic subscription package.

Each EMR instance, i.e. Primary & Hot Standby, is geographically distributed in different cities (Toronto & Barrie) to protect against natural disasters.

Fun Facts – Indivica’s data centres contain:

955 Servers
10,366 GB Memory
1,440 CPUs
704 TB SSDs

And every day, 1.81 TB of data is processed.

They are fault tolerant and hardened against physical and cyber attacks – defence in depth including Denial of Service mitigation, Intrusion Detection, Intrusion Prevention, Content Filtering, Anti-Malware, Anti-Phishing, plus Multi-Factor Biometric and Multi-Ringed physical security with 24/7 guards.

Each data centre is redundantly powered – electrical backup systems have backup systems – and come with a 100% Power Service Level Agreement.

Both data centres support extreme backbone speeds – 100G network – along with a 100% Network Uptime Service Level Agreement.

Link – Inter-Clinic Data Sharing

IndiviCare 4 contains Link, a native data sharing application that allows different clinics to share and use each others medical records as if they were their own.

From a user’s perspective, the remote records appear exactly as if they were contained in your own EMR.

This functionality is particularly useful for clinics that cover for each other, for example, in after-hours patient coverage, or are loosely affiliated with each other from a commercial perspective.

Indivica’s secure network technology, IndiviNet, securely manages the access to each other’s information. The Health Information Custodian for each medical record retains full control of what is shared, and can revoke access at any time.

IndiviCare 4

IndiviCare 4 is a full featured EMR with all the normal features you would expect, along with surprising value added services, such as appointment notifications and patient communications, included at no additional cost.

Your investment in training is protected by our customer centric product evolution strategy; this includes a balanced investment in both improving our user experience and upgrading our product infrastructure.

IndiviCare is very easy to use. Our user interface design model ensures that methodical enhancements to the user experience are only done to enhance user engagement with the product.

Under the hood, the IndiviCare platform has been completely re-architected and rebuilt to deliver a fully network aware solution designed for today’s demands and tomorrow’s innovation. All of our customers are using network services – millions of network requests are processed each day.

For example, over one third of our customers have decided to electronically share full charts between their independent clinics. From the user’s perspective, the remote and local charts appear to be the same. This electronic data sharing occurs transparently to the user and securely over the IndiviCare network platform.
